From April 2019 to May 2020, I was the design editor for The Diamondback, UMD’s independent student newspaper.
I would oversee as well as take part in the layout process for our weekly print edition, as well as special edition tabloids. I was privileged enough to put together the publication’s last print weekly when we transitioned to digital-only in March 2020.
There are a lot of issues here, so I’ve gone and put highlights on my favorites from the ones I’ve personally made, with specifics in parenthesis.
